I do not feel the need to numb my senses in order to talk or act my hearts out.

People do that. People drink to speak their minds and open up their hearts.

People take drugs to dance without restraint.

No, I don’t feel any need to do that to be natural.

Talking and dancing my hearts out is a natural act.

Why should I restrain myself?

Why should I hold myself back for fear of what-people-might-say?

What is the evolutionary basis for this fear of society’s opinions, anyway?

I also feel the fear but I try to overcome it for fear of regret propels me forward.

Fear of regret acts like a drug. It intoxicates me to do ‘stupid’ things. Without the aid of artificial drugs.

Have you ever tried it?

  1. Nice one! Fear of regret can also serve as a good excuse to push yourself out of that closed loop.

It can also come in handy when someone asks, ‘Why did you do that?’

Definitely gonna give this drug a try! 😄
