All this while I was blaming the mortal lords, bosses, and my body-mind givers for raising my heartbeat and blood pressure, for not giving me the peace I 'deserve', for conditioning me in such a way.

But the conditioning, the childhood trauma, the 'wrong' parenting, and the 'sick' society are all part of the plan (of existence).

And the unconditioning, unlearning and relearning, doing self-therapy and self-healing is solely our own responsibility.

I am mature enough to understand that:

That the sickness is myself,
(And the remedy is myself).
There is no drug that they could sell,
Nah, there is no drug that could make me well

As always, here is Switchfoot singing about the same:

The recent realization informed me that it is not 'them' who are responsible for a peaceful and calm inner self.

It is not 'them' who are to be blamed for the 'stress I take'.

They 'give' me the stress only because I 'take' it.

But the conditioning, the childhood trauma, the 'wrong' parenting, and the 'sick' society are all part of the plan of existence.

Yes, it is natural for the animal and human instincts to kick in due to evolution but those reactions and knee-jerk responses are not always needed.

I need to learn how to override them. And it can be learned.

And the unconditioning, unlearning and relearning, doing self-therapy and self-healing is solely my own responsibility.

What do you think?

Do you blame society for your insanity?

How funny it seems now!

I am in the process of learning few 'tricks'. I will share more when I see them working in real life.

Do you think that people and external circumstances are to be blamed for your inner afflictions?

Or at least they are part of the reason?
